Succeeding in High School Studies show that a productive and successful high school career most often increases the chances of a student having a productive and successful career in college. High school students often lose sight of the fact that their time in school is meant to prepare them for life after graduation and they encounter problems that could have been avoided. This program focuses upon advanced time management skills, the college selection process, dealing with “senioritis”, preparations for the transition to college, etc.
Beginning in College Few transitions in life can compare to a student’s move to a college environment. The need to develop self-sufficiency, active learning and more sophisticated study habits is never more important than during one’s freshman year in college. This program focuses upon high school vs. college, scheduling considerations, advanced study techniques, dealing with campus life, etc.
Succeeding in College Once in college, students sometimes fail to continue to develop their academic skills, using their high school experiences as a weak crutch. In time, these students often become overwhelmed and question their ability to succeed as a college student. This program focuses upon the college classroom experience, committing to a major, a graduation schedule, life after graduation, etc. |
