Martin Alcala has two passions: Education and Technology. Martin loves everything about teaching and learning, and if he can combine those two with the power of technology, it's like a triple play in baseball! He has been in education for well over a decade in different roles, and always finds himself learning and exploring new educational technologies.

He was born in beautiful Guadalajara, Mexico, where he completed an undergraduate studies of Mass Communication at Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara. Martin entered the workforce as an account executive for an advertising agency dealing with writing ad campaigns and making presentations. Later moving to Houston, he started his journey in education as a bilingual teacher. Martin began coaching and mentoring adults in the areas of: sales cycles, mind-to-market productivity, time management, goal setting and principles of branding and marketing. The passion for learning, teaching and technology has taken him to various fields, such as: real estate instructor, on-line Spanish teacher, early-morning TV program contributor, curriculum writer and radio host.
