Those who are familiar with e-Learning will recognise the "tell, show, do" mantra, which neatly packages the core values of developing courses and modules.
Acarta has now taken this one stage further by introducing the fourth dimension of "touch".
"touch" seemlessly moves e-Learning from the computer and Internet environment into the real, physical world.
All our courses are now being developed to integrate "tours" which give students the opportunity to experience what they have learnt. The tours can involve taking part in co-ordinated activities, attending specific events or visiting sympathetic locations, that will excite, support, reinforce and inspire.
The composite courses and tours are being term "packages" as the components are inter-related and dependent.
As part of this exciting and original enterprise, we have created a new brand: learning and adventure.
This brand will be the customer-facing marketing tool through which we will be making our packages available to the world.
Our first academic packages are UK-orientated and focus on Key Stage 2 and A-Level, and due for release during quarter four of 2009.
For more information on learning and adventure and the packages will be able to be found on the website created for the purpose, due to be released imminently at www.learning and adventure.co.uk.
